Product Overview
Here is one of the great books of our age, Winston Churchill's most ambitious work and the crowning achievement of his career. His theme is a noble one, worthy of the great purpose and imaginative scope of its 'Back in the mists of time on that little Anglo-Saxon island there was kindled the flame of freedom and equality for the individual. This idea grew and was spread over the earth by the English-speaking peoples, and has now brought democracy to the whole free world, and become the shining hope of the future of mankind.'
Printed in London, this hefty volume is an impressive bit of history. Encompassing all 4 volumes of Churchill's A History of the English-Speaking Peoples is a must-have for life-long students of history. This would be an excellent research resource and would look extremely impressive sitting on your book shelf.
