Product Overview
The Fellows and Scholars af St. Anthony's College awoke one raw November morning to find their colleague, Josiah Umpleby, murdered in the night. The Dean in particular was perturbed. Murder in the sanctity of an English university was bad enough, but this was such a gawdy murder: bones scattered about the dead man's room, a grotesque drawing over the fireplace, and poor Umpleby's head wrapped up in his academic gown. Inspector Appleby stepped into the case with misgiving. And after one night at the college it seemed doubtful that he would ever thread his way through the Don's complicated and abstract theories to find a simple solution to the crime.
This Dolphin Mystery paperback edition of Seven Suspects was printed in 1962 by Dodd, Mead & Co. It's in good condition. The pages are nice and clean. One name is written in the front cover. Some rubbing on the spine, and staining on the book block.
