This historic book is an interesting look into the past. Published by the Michigan State Highway Department, this specifications handbook has information for building roads and bridges in 1934. It's a pretty little book, and while you probably shouldn't rely on the information here to build a road, it would make an interesting gift for an engineer. Acceptable condition, the endpapers have some rough spots. No interior markings. This book was clearly used in the field.
