Dione Lucas can best be described as the predecessor of Julia Child. She was a trail blazing chef and the first female graduate of Le Cordon Bleu. She even had a cooking show in 1948. This exhaustive cookbook is compiled from Dione Lucas's personal papers by her friend, Marion Gorman.
The book is in good condition. The dust jacket has one tear that has been repaired with tape, one fold on the inner front, but is in otherwise very good shape.
The book is signed by the author, in 1977.
