Printed in 1918, this hardcover edition of the English translation of The Great Novels of Anatole France is good condition for its age. The three stories contained within are Penguin Island, The Crime of Sylvestre Bonnard, and The Revolt of the Angels. There are illustrations throughout the stories. Deckel edge pages. There is water damage, a bit of staining and rippling in the beginning pages but this is the only apparent damage. Cloth boards are good condition, some wear and fraying on the corners but not much. The spine is tight and pages are secure. The outer spine has gold colored leaf in the title and decorations.
